Armed security would have stopped transgender school shooter​

So would a mental evaluation requirement for the purchase of a gun.
Funny how I haven't seen the anti-gun loons offer that...

That's when the government appointed mental health evaluators decide everyone is crazy, so no one gets a gun.

Waiting periods would only stop an incredibly small minority of gun crimes because they already have them or have access to them.

Even the military has determined it is a mental health issue. Despite all of the hysteria, it is VERY difficult for a transgender to join the military.

Upon arrival, and before getting guns out of the vehicle, the shooter planned to check the parking lot for any armed security personnel.

As we now know, no security personnel were found, and the shooter was able to take time entering the school without any armed opposition. The killing didn’t stop until police officers entered the school and did their actual jobs (something the Uvalde Police Department in Texas could learn a thing or three from).

The bottom line is this: the one thing this shooter feared was armed security. She had no fear of the law. There was no fear what anyone in the Republican Party was going to say about transgender people afterwards. There was no fear of what anyone in the Democrat Party was going to say about guns afterwards. There was no revulsion at the idea of murdering innocent children, and thus no moral restraints.

Parkland, one police resource officer for over 12 buildings on campus, the campus was a gun free zone.

The Pulse Nightclub was a gun free zone. The off duty police officer working as the bouncer ran away to call for help when the shooter went in.

The shooter at pulse had originally targeted Disney land/world...but decided against it because...wait for it......there was too much security there....

Watch the Starz documentary series "Active shooter," where they actually talk to people who were in the club during the attack.....you hear them relate time after time where an armed citizen could have shot and killed the attacker......

Uvalde, the building was another gun free zone.......

3 gun free zones, all 3 the government actors who should have done something failed, leaving the victims in the gun free zone helpless.......

Had those 3 sites allowed armed citizens, there would not have been an attack on them...

The presence of an unknown number of armed citizens keeps mass public shooters away.

Wrong.......you don't know what you are talking about. A military base is not filled with armed soldiers. They keep their rifles and other weapons in armories, and only the military police have weapons.

None of those places had armed soldiers, sailors or marines........you too should watch the Starz show "Active Shooter," they cover the Navy Yard shooting where the guy roamed around the building until the police showed up...

In Texas the state legislature just passed a law making armed guards a requirement for schools. Unfortunately after they made that big show they of course underfunded it.

House Bill 3 mandates armed guards on Texas campuses. Some Fort Worth schools are struggling to find funds to comply | Fort Worth Report

Texas now requires an armed guard at every campus in public school districts and open enrollment charters. Many districts are struggling to meet the demand, saying the state did not provide enough money. Others were able to make budget adjustments to make ends meet.
