Arizona sheriff resigns Romney role after allegations

(CNN) - An Arizona sheriff building a national profile stepped down Saturday from a state leadership position with Mitt Romney's presidential campaign after a newspaper published allegations that he threatened to deport a former boyfriend.

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu denied the allegations during a press conference Saturday. He was co-chair of Romney's campaign in Arizona and is a candidate for Congress in the state's fourth district.

Nobody cares that Babeu white supremacist skinhead any more than they care that Arpaio is KKK. Arpaio's atty is Kris Kobach, KKK, Kansas, just about as low as you can go. They also don't care that he scammed Pinal county for a Hummer. Pinal County is no where near the border where he said he was gonna "finish the dang fence" but that's okay too.

Some big R's have pulled their support from Babeu and neither of these jerks do most of what they brag about but basically, the GObP/R's love haters so he'll probably bounce back.

Arpaio is the most corrupt sheriff in the US and it hasn't hurt him a bit.

Considering that Romney gave millions to the Church of Latter Day Saints, the SAME church that spent millions trying to ruin as many gay lives as possible in California, it's not a surprise Romney wouldn't want to be, pardon the phrase, "connected" to him. Mormons don't want to be seen as "in bed" with a gay.
