I love it when great singers voices deepen from when they were young to when they got older.
I've heard it with Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra. It's rare because so many singers "make it" when they get older so we don't have recordings from when they were very young.
Ella Fitzgerald and Sammy Davis Jr. are two others. Miss Fitzgerald's voice gaining Amazing depth and emotion as she grew older. Or else they lose the high registers. Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand.
