I agree, truly quit without crutches or excuses.I've tried. Many times. I always fail.
Something a very dear old friend said to me -
Quit quitting.
It really is true that if you want to to stop smoking, you will.
I didn't mean it that way.
If one wants to quit, there's nothing wrong with using a drug, patch or whatever works.
But, I think we give cigarettes so much power over us that we believe we can't quit, or that it is way harder than it has to be. I believe cigarette makers have brainwashed us. They have used science against us and it has successfully set up a pattern of trying and failing.
