Anybody Like Nick Drake?

I discovered his music two years ago and have fallen in love with it. Has anyone else heard of him or enjoy his music? I don't know that much about his musical era (at least not more than passing knowledge of the late 60's and early 70's).

(if its hip-hop, R&B, soul or brazillian music, i know a good deal, but the rest of the music world i can profess only passing knowledge of (though i own a great deal of diverse music that i passionately enjoy)

I enjoy his music, but I, too, know pretty much nothing about him.

I think he died in 74, "accidentally" overdosed on sleeping pills at home somewhere in Britain. Mentally he can be compared to James Taylor ie:depression, severe mood swings, nervous break down, mental hospitals ect. Not much of him captured on film, and was not as well known alive as he is dead. Smart guy, went to Cambridge, family was fairly well off.

I'm not a huge fan, a friend of mine loves his music.
