Churchgoers in St. Louis Wednesday night were not allowed to celebrate the birth of Jesus without the threat of disruption by supporters of the so-called Black Lives Matter campaign.
Photos posted to Twitter show police in riot gear massed in force protecting a church identified as the Cathedral Basilica.
St. Louis Post Dispatch reporter Leah Thorsen described the protesters gathered outside the church as peaceful. Earlier Wednesday night protesters in nearby Berkeley, Missouri threatened reporters forcing news crews to flee.

I worked in Seville, Spain in 1991 & 1992 on the World's Fair. Seville is the winter home of all the gypsies in Europe. The socialist government of Juan Carlos saw fit to build them a large building complex to keep them from camping in the streets. The buildings were destroyed and all the copper and fixtures were sold by the gypsies. The gypsies then set up camp around the buildings and used the buildings as toilets. The large number of murders and crime in general kept the police and ambulances quiet busy. The police and emergency people were attacked so often by the gypsies that they refused to respond to gypsy emergencies. Finally a ten foot fence was built around the compound and the dead or injured were required to be brought to the gate for attention. Problem solved. The gypsies are still allowed in public to be the predators they are.
How about a fence around areas where emergency personal are known to be attacked ? Just bring those needing attention to the gate and let the "people" within the fence govern themselves ?
Would this be racist ? Would this be separate but equal ? The name-callers will call names but society will have improved itself. The lines that civilized people shouldn't cross will be more clearly defined.
