Antonio Gramsci: the Godfather of Cultural Marxism
Described as one of the world’s most important and influential Marxist theorists since Marx himself, if you are not familiar with Antonio Gramsci, you should be.

Marxism failed. Marx had been proven wrong; capitalism did not just fail as the workers rose up to combat them.
But being proven wrong never stops a Marxist, especially Antonio Gramsci. For you see, Gramsci adopted another form of Marxism, one that targeted institutions within society in order to manipulate the populace into whatever he wanted it to become. That meant, instead of destroying the local corporation or church or newspaper, just infiltrate them and then force Marxist lingo upon them.
He understood that the target was civil society, and not the corporations and media, and rich fat cats Marx hated etc. Once the Civil Society was subverted, he could then control them. Now the rich fat cats would do his dirty work for him.
That is what we have around the world now.
