Fox news has plenty of comments.

It would seem like the cop was a thug, that he attacked the man both inexpertly and unnecessarily as the man was walking away, then shot him when he responded to being attacked.

As the man lay injured, the cop and his security guard colleague made no attempt to stop him from dying, though first aid might have prevented that.

Very much a police murder, by all indications.

I wonder why this cop shooting did not get the same response as the Mike Brown shooting?

Are you the family lawyer? You sure sound like it.

The officer clearly starts the fight (@ 2:40)

The officer claimed Horton lunged at him, but that is obviously a lie, because (@ 4:00) Horton takes a few steps towards the officer, but never gets closer than 5 feet from him and falls backwards.

Surveillance Footage Released Shows Cold Blooded Killing of Unarmed Man by Off Duty Chicago Cop The Free Thought Project

Officer Walker, during the investigation of the killing, prior to being aware that video of the incident existed, claimed that he and the security guard never initiated any physical contact with Horton, and in fact claimed that Horton knocked him to the ground and overpowered him when he attempted to take him into custody and began to pummel him with punches.

These are some outrageous lies by the officer he got caught with.

After the shooting, both the female security guard and Walker call 911 to report the incident. The female during her call to 911 tells them an officer shot a suspect, but when the operator asks who was the officer involved… there is silence. She refuses to identify the officer that committed the shooting. If this had been a by the book incident why would she refuse to identify the officer that did the shooting during the 911 call?

They both acted guilty.

Aug 28 - Unarmed Chicago Man Shot By Off-Duty Police Caught On Video

In two weeks, it'll be one year since Marlon Horton was k!lled. His family is planning a vigil on September 6.

The Independent Police Review Authority's investigation into the shooting is not yet complete. A CHA spokesperson would not comment on the shooting, and a Chicago police spokesman told FOX 32 the department takes the issue of office-involved shootings seriously, but cannot comment due to the ongoing IPRA investigation.

Why is the investigation of the shooting still not finished after a whole year?
