This is a mobilization-vignette inspired by the conviction-sculpted films Three Kings and Priest.

A great general of the Gulf War was transported through time when he discovered a strange portal opened up by Iraqi forces in the deserts of Kuwait which sent the general back to the time of the Christian Crusades. The general's name was George Timmy, and he was a highly-decorated military officer incredibly skilled in combat and warfare tactics, even though he was only 35 years-old. Timmy moved his way up the ranks of the U.S. army very quickly and earned the secret admiration of President Bush. Now, Timmy found himself in the heart of the Crusades and was donned as a vital knight of the religious campaign. Being Christian himself, Timmy gladly accepted the challenge.

Timmy led forces in search of a secret cult of pagan heretics known as the Goat-Heads who kept in their underground palace a demonic statue of a goat-headed beast named Baphomet-Islan which was usually surrounded by caged women who would serve as sacrifices in cannibalistic rituals. Timmy's Christian regiment was charged with the task of infiltrating the palace/fortress of the Goat-Heads, destroying the heretical statue of Baphomet-Islan, and rescuing any caged women offered up as sacrifices. The Christian army had received word of this underground lair from a Goat-Head defector who simply wanted someone to help rid the world of the demonic forces unleashed by the bizarre Baphomet-Islan rituals (which took place every October of the Roman calendar).

When Timmy and his Christian army broke into the Goat-Head fortress, they found exactly what they expected but they also discovered that a special sacrificial rite was being conducted involving the execution of a 'golden child' (a kidnapped Ural-Christian) named Ana. Timmy's forces quickly dismantled the forces, beheaded the Goat-Head legion of worshippers (all male) and freed the caged women being served up literally as food. Timmy then carried Ana personally back to the Christian missionary camp where she would be safe. Timmy was then suddenly whisked back to his own time (to the Gulf War) and resumed his command of U.S. military forces in Kuwait/Iraq. Timmy would earn a Medal of Honor and when President Bush asked General Timmy, "Why do you look bewildered?" the 'enlightened patriot' responded, "I'm brooding about the eternity of vanity (e.g., OPEC)!"
