Do you enjoy breathing clean air, drinking clean water and eating food that isn't poisoness. Just look at the world for 5 seconds and you will find that without government regulations all of this high quality life style we Americans take advantage of wouldn't exist. We owe a lot to the fda, cdc, epa and other regulations that make all this possible. Why do you think Mexico has lower standards that make you sick when you drink their water??? Because there's no regulations.

Where is it all going? First I'd have a huge investigation to answer that question because I believe something illegal is occurring. Please don't blame infrastructure, science, r&d and education as that hasn't increased in 30 years. So by what logic could you make for more heavy cuts on those areas?

1. Healthcare system is weighing us down big time. Obamacare wasn't good enough. A full blown private free market would be even worse for our debt.

2. Wars. Decades of war is costly.

3. Tax breaks for the rich...That was very costly.


If you want to argue that infrastructure, science, r&d and education is what is causing it then please explain why at its current expense never caused hardly any debt before(clinton, reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon and in fact was higher in science and r&d during the 50's into the 70's)??? Logically, it makes no sense at all as clinton didn't cut those areas and balanced the deficit.
