Fifty years ago when we sat in comparative government classes we learned that socialism is poison to democracy. In 1957 Sputnik changed the educational landscape and that event along with the Great Society/War on Poverty began the process of supplanting education with indoctrination to bring America into line with the failures of European intellectualism.

Colleges and universities, particularly the state variety, are financed through tax breaks and after Sputnik American education began lowering standards to get as many people into college as possible. Because educators benefit from socialism with unions, health benefits, tenured pensions and other public largess, they began to brainwash students to accept socialism as a viable alternative to individual liberty and personal control of their destinies.

Modern education is in a treacherous behavioral sink and millions of Americans were appalled when a group of young school kids ambushed US Sen. Diane Feinstein, Calif. It is chillingly apparent that like the vanquished Soviet Union, we are now living in the age of the “little stooge”.

After the usual institutional proselytizing, probably since kindergarten, the children verbally accosted Feinstein over the fairy tale socialist physics of human-induced climate change. The diminutive Manchurian candidates relentlessly and disrespectfully attacked the 85-year-old Feinstein like miniature Brown shirts.

These are dangerous times for the United States because the sickness of socialism has penetrated deeply into the fabric of American education. Even in the face of a failed state in Venezuela the inculcated, cult-like adulation of socialist ideology has been so engrained into innocent young minds that an alternate reality of shifting antidemocratic sentiments looms on the horizon.

The great American experiment may be coming to an end as leadership imports the Trojan horse of illegal immigration while education stupefies the free masses into selling their freedom for something free. Left wing politics has so invaded and infected American education that intelligence is dropping and life spans are shortening.

The brilliant British historian Arnold Toynbee once said that “civilizations die by suicide, not by murder”. Why waste time waiting for an enemy to overthrow the country you hate when you can just become an educator engaged in the political, ideological and spiritual corrosion of the youth? It’s a nefarious, furtive and more effective means to the same end which is the destruction of democracy and the rise of centralized authoritarianism called socialism.

The educational mass production of militant socialism is underway and it could work.

You honestly can't see that during the time you were in school, this country was flat out hysterically terrified of communism and that you were as heavily indoctrinated to believe that democracy is the only right choice?
