The mention of religion in public school should end at "Muslim," "Christian," "Jewish," etc. There should be no more than that unless we're talking about an elective students in HS or college can choose to take.

Religion is a PRIVATE matter and has no place in a public school where the learning of the subject is a requirement. If a parent or student wishes to learn more about a religion they can do so on their own time, and dime. This is not a difficult discussion, nor position, to take on the matter because the /only/ reason one delves further into a religion is to a) demonize or b) recruit it. There is absolutely /no/ reason a religion should be expanded upon in schools, for the same reason one does not discuss religion in polite company. It's not worth the hassle of potential disagreement. Leave it at home and let parents to pick up some of the "tab" for properly educating their children about /all/ religions, or not, if they wish - it is their choice, not a school districts.
