America points finger at 8216 most important problem 8217
U.S. voters now have a bigger worry than the economy for the first time in nearly eight years: Politicians.
In fact, it’s the first time leaders in Washington have ever taken the top spot, according to a survey released Friday from Gallup.
In 2014, Americans were also more worried about the government, Congress and politicians than unemployment or health care.
Eighteen percent said the “most important problem” in the United States in 2014 was “Government/Congress/Politicians.”
The economy was second on the list, at 17 percent, while unemployment and jobs were cited as the most important issue by 15 percent of Americans.
Health care and immigration were among the top five concerns, at 10 and eight percent, respectively.
The survey of 12,000 adults was taken throughout 2014 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 1 percentage point.
The following chart lists the results of Gallup’s survey:

What are you worried about? What do you concern the most urgent problem of the Country?
Nobody believes that America is free of problems and difficulties. And usual citizens understand the real situation best of all.

(1) Due to our rapidly growing population, and human longevity, it's very urgent and important that we create self-supporting opportunities that cover all education and skill levels. (2) Debt and economic health and stability. (3) Due to corruption and favoritism, it's very important that we make every effort to ensure that a pro-America government is seated in Washington. (4) Due to neglect for many years, our infrastructure merits immediate attention and funding. (5) As has been mentioned for at least a couple of decades now, proven alternative energy sources must be incorporated into our socioeconomic structure. (6) Fair, equal, and balanced foreign trade agreements and policies. (7) Foreign policy. (8) Military spending. (9) Freedom and rights. (10) Make the judicial system one of true justice. (11) Our rapidly growing prison population. (12) Illegal immigration. (13) Our growing population of poor and dependent citizens. (14) Affordable health care. (15) Senseless deadly costly wars. (16) The environment. (17) Our growing homeless population. (18) The care and support of our military Vets. (19) A fair tax system, with fair tax codes. (20) Medical research to find cures for cancer, and other deadly diseases. (21) Advanced education, and R&D concerning technology and automation. (22) Hi-tech transportation systems. (23) Natural disaster safe-guards and effective emergency response systems. (24) Our fresh water supply. (25) Food production and adequate supplies in order to avoid devastating shortages. (26) Nuclear attacks on American soil. (27) Biological and chemical warfare. (28) Uncontrollable and widespread plagues. (29) Civil unrest and widespread devastating riots throughout America. (30) A one world order, controlling both monetary and commerce activity, creating global poverty.

The Decline of Privacy seems not to be mentioned here.
"With the Surveillance State growing exponentially over the last decade in the way of drones, the TSA, the PATRIOT Act, stop-and-frisk, and other similar legislation, this has now become a serious issue. The Fourth Amendment is being thrown by the wayside in the name of "security." These policies do little-if-not-nothing to make us safer, and put us on a slippery slope toward an Orwellian police state where big brother is always watching you. It is never irrelevant to quote Benjamin Franklin, when he said, "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

No. I did not steal it from anywhere, nor from anyone. If I had, I would have included the link and/or reference. What I listed are my view of problems that need serious attention. I have stated the same many times in other forums over the past several years. I do add to my list from time to time though.
