Hate to break it to you but Bush only had a full republican Congress for 4 of those 8 years. And he never had more then 56 Senators. According to you guys the reason the Democrats could not do anything under Obama for 2 years of total control was because you did not have 60 Senators.

So much for how the Republicans fucked things up. Hell the last 2 years of Bush BOTH houses of Congress were run by the Democrats. The Housing Crash occurred while Democrats were in charge.

Bush tried twice and McCain once to regulate the Housing Market, all 3 times Barney Frank in the House and Chris Dodd in the Senate lead a successful campaign to shut down the bills.
