"Addicted" to Porn?!

Dont get me wrong there are all types of people with all types of addictions but this one seems to be the "Go To" excuse used more often than a cop can say "He was going for my gun".

Its always the same pattern. Guy looks at porn like any other red blooded male. Woman, wife or GF finds it and instead of these assholes just owning up to liking porn every one of these idiots has to find an excuse. One that makes him more vunerable....more feminine. Aha! "I cant help it, I'm ADDICTED"

Part 2 of this is men for some reason cant just like what they like...it has to be some sort of flaw with man himself. And men are falling for this bullshit and shooting themselves in the foot by doing so.

Or because maybe sometimes the wife isn't in the mood, and the guy just needs to literally "blow off" some steam.

Porn is only an issue when it starts interfering with a sex life. For most guys its just a form of stress relief.

Addiction implies that it has control of their life and it is all they do. Some men really are totally consumed with that sort of thing just like some people are addicted to other things like alcohol or drugs. But the fact is that most people are not really "addicted" to the true definition of the word. Women feel inferior when men have sexual reactions to other women. They feel they do not measure up and could never be "that" which men get off to on a porn site. Men see it differently. They can separate their feelings from physical reaction. Most women are not wired that way although judging by the number of women rumored on these hook up sites and one night stands men have with them I am probably wrong on that and can only speak from my very limited narrow view

Well, if my hubby every leaves me etc. I can be okay alone, but, not settling.... everyone has to do what is best for them.............
