AARP/Hartford Auto Ins - good deal

Just joined after years of getting hosed by my prior carrier.

(you just renew automatically without thinking)

With AARP/Hartford - $705 for 12 months. (got a discount for being a member)

With my prior carrier (with no tickets, claims, accidents etc ) - with the same coverages and limits - $1000 for SIX months.

Give it a couple years, AARP will jack you up to the old rates.

May vote for a new State Insurance Comissionar - they are suppossed to police insurance price-gouging..

Have a tighter budget thanks to Obama.

My premiums are nearly $500/month these days. 2 vehicles/camper trailer/homeowners/kids' 2 vehicles/kids' renters policies...

$816 for full comp. coverage, Geico. I don't want to pay the mebers fee for AARP.

I get a rate around $400-$600 every 6 months or so and I'm 19.

No speeding tickets, accidents, or record.
