Like Tony Blair before him, Gordon Brown is only to eager to visit our troops in Afghanistan. Not because he really cares, but for PR and soundbites in the belief that it will make him look good. The proof of that lies in what Brown did once the general election was announced. He imposed a media blackout on news from Afghanistan until after the election. Reporters are banned from the Afghan front line, senior officers are prohibited from making public speeches and talking to reporters, and MoD websites are being cleansed of any non-factual material including anything containing troops' opinions of the war.

So, on the one hand, he uses the war and our troops to bolster his own image when it suits him, but when news from the front might make him look bad, he imposes a news blackout. This man is not fit to run a gents lavatory, let alone a country!

Fuck off Brown. Your country doesn't need you!

What a freaking logistical and security nightmare it must be, for UK Secret Service (whatever you guys call them) to protect your PM whilst he does the prom-queen twirly wave in a battle zone.

He sounds rather like a total fuckwhit.

Do you guys miss Tony?

What do you mean, 'sounds like'. He IS a total Fuckwit.

Erm, no. Few miss the arch liar Blair. He is just another self-serving piece of shit, like so many politicians. He just has it down to a finer art of deception, lies and downright crookedness than most others.

I feel kind of sorry for whoever wins this election.... the hard decisions that the next government here is gonna have to make is going to make it a one term victory, and they will be hated for decades. I suspect that will be Cameron with a hung parliament. That'll be a damned nightmare for the Brits. Can you see the Conservatives working with the LibDems?
