A letter to Mr. Khan. Excellent read.

This is a point that needs to be kept in the open....

I am troubled that you would allow a party that has little more than contempt for the US Service Member to parade you into the DNC to denounce Donald Trump. Did you watch when protesters at the DNC booed and heckled Medal of Honor recipient Capt. Florent Groberg? Did you notice your party interrupting the moment of silence for slain police officers? Your own hypocrisy in not denouncing these acts and instead using the DNC as a platform to make a political point is disgraceful. The simple fact is that whether one served or sacrificed does not give greater power to their statements. One vote is as valuable as another. That sir, is why our Country is great. Your condemnation of one person for a statement while standing idly as your party disparages veterans and police officers is the height of hypocrisy.

To conflate the need to prevent potential terrorists from entering our country with the belief that ā€˜all Muslimsā€™ should be banned is simply wrong and disingenuous. As a reminder, Mr. Trump said: ā€ ā€œUntil we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life,ā€The irony of your sonā€™s own death at the hands of these very people in Iraq should not be ignored. I have little doubt that your son would have recognized the need to protect our country from these very people. In fact, he held is own troops back so that he could check on a suspicious car. Your son understood sacrifice and how to protect ā€œhis peopleā€ā€¦ā€™his soldiersā€™ā€¦.ā€™his fellow Americansā€™ā€¦

Dear Mr. Khan,

I want to preface this letter by stating that I respect your sonā€™s sacrifice for this great nation. By all accounts, he is a true hero that sacrificed himself in service to our country. For that I am thankful.

As a veteran, I watched your comments at the Democratic National Convention with a mixture of sadness, and anger. The United States has a military comprised of volunteers. Every single member has made the conscious choice to join the military and serve. There is not a single service member who has been forced into service. It is important for all service members (and apparently, their families) to understand that service to this great nation does not imbue one with special privileges or rights. I found your comments troubling when you said: ā€œHave you ever been to Arlington cemetery? Go look at the graves of brave patriots who died defending the United States of America. You will see all faiths, genders and ethnicities. You have sacrificed nothing and no one.ā€

Does it matter whether Mr. Trump has sacrificed ā€œā€¦nothing and no one?ā€ā€¦has Ms. Clinton ā€œ..sacrificedā€ for this nation? How about Mr. Obama? Your comment stating that Mr. Trump ā€œā€¦has sacrifice no oneā€ is alarming. Are you intimating that YOU sacrificed? Sir, your son willingly sacrificed himself. As a father I cannot imagine the pain you must feel but his sacrifice is his own. He was not forced to serve.

As you continue to make the media circuit and bask in the glow of affection cast upon you by a party that has little regard for your sonā€™s own sacrifice, and veterans in general, I would ask you to consider your comments and your position more closely.

Respectfully,

Great letter! Seems many are not happy with Mr Khans one sided vision about his son's death.
Seems a lot of people want Khan to shut up so they can continue their hatred against fellow Americans without anyone trying to make them feel guilty.

Seems a lot of people are pretty grossed out by this guy using his son's death for political advancement of a candidate.

I don't know who the bigger slime is.....the DNC or the dad.
maybe hillary promised to let him go down on her if he pretended to be upset with Donald Trump.
something is up, face it, Trump had nothing to do with this towel heads son being killed, Hillary on the other hand and basically all the democrats in congress at that time did agree to a war.
You would think the suicide bomber family would recognize who is really to blame for his son dying at the hands of his own religion,

They signed on to the war....and then pulled support....they abandoned the troops in the field.....they did that, not Trump.

This is a point that needs to be kept in the open....

Exactly and another reason why this was all a big con job on the American people.

Gotta love these whinney conservatives.....that letter should be addressed to COPS!!

which cops, the dead ones killed by peaceful protestors?

I can't imagine losing a son, but his attacks on Trump are misguided grief IMO.
He was used by the despicable DNC
Kinda like Trump is using you despicable red fucks, kinda?????
So tell me? What did Obama sacrifice? What did Hiliary sacrifice?
This is not a tit for tat arguement, this is a bully being called on the carpet and people like you are trying to deflect it by bringing in other players....other players haven't dis'd the muslim communities...Trump however did...its time he learn talking shit to rednecks, you get applause, talking shit to others, you get challenged.....apparently the struggle is real!!

the khan family is finding out that the sheehan family and the tillwell family know......the us could care less about dead soldiers...or their families...this gold star shit is just that.....rah rah rah...meaning nothing.....its so sad when people like trump and gracie have so much to say about shit they know nothing about.....
Very true. Politicians will send our citizens to die in wars and then dishonor their service.

I imagine this bullshit is going to keep a lot of Americans from joining the military, especially if Trump is president.

lets just call It like it is. Mr terrorist is not at all in the least bit upset over his sons death.
If that were really the case, we would have heard from him long ago, but why now? what is it about now that has him so concerned.
He makes a living being a lawyer for the terrorists that are trying to get into this country, I would assume he makes a good living. If Trump were to stop the muslims from entering, even for a short time this "mans" cash flow would dry up, he would either be out of business or he would have to change what he does as a lawyer. He does not want to see that, his concern is with is wallet, not his dead son,
Then we have the fact that he used to work for a law firm that amazingly did work for the Clintons.
He is also a great supporter of bringing sharia law to the U.S. Its not how we do things here.
He has no credibility and should be shipped back to what ever hell hole he thinks he can have a better life in.
He has dishonored his sons service and memory and should be deeply ashamed for allowing himself and his wife to be used by the Clinton election team.
In short, he is, has always been and will always be an enemy of the United States.

the khan family is finding out that the sheehan family and the tillwell family know......the us could care less about dead soldiers...or their families...this gold star shit is just that.....rah rah rah...meaning nothing.....its so sad when people like trump and gracie have so much to say about shit they know nothing about.....

How did Trump dishonor his service?

By pointing out his Mom is a good Muslim?

he dishonored his service by threating to cut off dads cash cow.

How in the hell is the Khan family wrong, when it was TRUMP DOING THE ATTACKS FIRST??????? This thin skinned orange fuck, just like you white people think, yaw can just insult mf's and expect people to just back away....them days is over hommie, its time to put on your big boy panties and deal wit shit

Have you considered some anti-psychotic meds? They might help, because in the world of reality, Trump had never mentioned these people in his life before the convention.

.....just like the rest of us who had never heard of these opportunists.

I can't imagine losing a son, but his attacks on Trump are misguided grief IMO.
He was used by the despicable DNC

I disagree. He was a willing participant.
Yes. But I doubt even he knew the cynical strategy Demoncats had in mind. He won't admit it out loud, but he has to be resentful being used as a pawn by Demoncats who have no problem exposing his family to the worst of politics to score a few points against Trump.

What he is objecting to is Trump lumping his family with terrorists, with Trump seeking to limit his Constitutional rights based on his religion

How can someone who has never made a sacrifice demand that he give up his constitutional protections?
Once again an unfounded statement pretending to be fact. Why can't you damn people site a specific example instead of making up a lie we have to call you on?
