A inch or two of snow they said.....5+ inches later......Weather people are totally worthless!

It started snowing in my area of east TN on the night before Martin Luther King Day. It didn't stop until the morning after Martin Luther King Day. Between eight and nine inches is what we got and it's the most that I remember us ever getting at one time since I came here in the summer of 1996. The kids got the whole week off from school.

Hate it when we get enough to plow, then a little while later more snow!! Then it freezes!!! Plowing ice is almost impossible....

I tend to find weather.com is about the most reliable source for weather in my area.

I don't go by what local news says because it can change from one hour to the next. At least weather.com adjusts their forecasts on the fly.
