Through the end of October (November totals not out yet) Trump spent $24 million, compared to $98 million for Hillary Clinton and $82 million for her Democratic rival Bernie Sanders, and about $40 million-a-piece for Trump’s Republican rivals Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. And the grand prize goes to Jeb Bush who managed to piss away $130 million on a campaign that failed almost right out of the gate.
Trump is a brilliant businessman and part of that is smart expenditure of money. He demonstrated that beautifully during this campaign soundly defeating Hillary with a fraction of the spending.
He will demonstrate the same efficiency during his Presidency. It is part of his DNA. He will DEMAND efficiency and results.
