A basic question.

Will someone please explain to me why the hell should I vote for a political party that DEFENDS companies and corporations outsourcing jobs to foreign countries only to sell the products to me at outrageous prices....AND get a tax break to do so?

You ought to be voting for the candidate, not the party.

Why do you buy products from companies whose business practices bother you?

Why do you eat food that's regulated by a federal gov't that you can't stand? Why do you drive a car on roads maintained by taxes that you don't like paying?

We LIVE here, you asshole.....and life eventually leads us to using services and products that make that life possible.

Now, ANSWER THE QUESTION!

Your comparisons aren't even remotely similar. Unless you intend to import all of the food you eat from a foreign nation, which is next to impossible, you have no choice in the matter of who regulates the food you buy. Being that about less than 1/10 of 1% of roads are private, you have no choice but to travel on government maintained roads unless you have discovered the formula for teleportation. You can, however, easily choose not to buy products from companies that outsource jobs overseas.

You make numerous attempts to pass yourself off as an intellectual, but it's really not working. I'm smarter than you.

What choice am I given as to whether gubmint regulates the food and roads, strawman breath?

What is outrageously priced?

What isn't? Gasoline, Food, clothing, etc.

Now, are you going to answer the question, or just waste time and space stalling and bullshitting?

Gasoline, food and clothing are all cheaper now both in inflation adjusted terms and in terms of percentage of family income than ever before in history.

You really don't know very much, do you?

I asked a legitimate question based on the FACT that the GOP (with 4 Dems)voted against repeal of tax breaks for corporations that outsource:

Anti-outsourcing bill fails Senate test vote - MarketWatch

Democurmudgeon: Republicans Vote against Second Biggest Concern of Conservative Voters, Outsourcing. Ready for a Revolt?

And so far, all I've gotten back is a lot of childish foot stamping and some campaign BS.

I DIDN'T DO THIS, YOU DIMBULB...YOU'RE PARTY DID THIS TO YOU...YOUR CORPORATIONS DID THIS TO YOU. ANSWER THE QUESTION, IF YOU'VE GOT THE GUTS.

A Democrat majority wants cover from Republicans for not passing something?

It's still a strawman and Hegelian false dichotomy.

And you're the one doing the childish foot stamping here, junior.

Great question. The answer is "that was the old GOP, the new GOP says that they will create jobs here"

IMHO the party that commits to more of the following gets my vote:
1. prohibit short-selling of stocks (companies need capital to expand)
2. prohibit derivatives and other high-risk options (end the global casino)
3. make tax breaks based on jobs created and salaries/benefits paid
4. put strict limits on total compensation to corporate execs (no $400m bonuses)
5. put the screws to any company that outsources factories/jobs
6. give tax breaks to anyone who buys US made vehicles
7. cut federal spending to the bone and roll-back new entitlements, make SS & Medicare solvent long-term.

Interesting points. The GOP has been stating the policies that benefit the investors and not the general public since Reagan's trickle down BS was introduced. To date, they've been in denial of that continuing disaster, promising that staying the course will eventually prove out. :cuckoo:

The reality is that if you make corporations keep workers here then they're going to either A) Increase the prices of their products/services or B) Lose lots of money. Then instead of more jobs being created, more will be lost.

The intention of the bill that didn't pass isn't the problem but it's just not the way to do it.

I don't have a party, dumbshit.

Dreaming up false outrage, false scandal, never works. The voters aren't listening.

Policies the Democrats put in place are doing the same thing you know. Both parties are responsible for companies deciding that outsourcing is a good alternative.

True enough to a large extent. But the as it stands NOW, the GOP is standing in the way of trying to make it right, so why should I vote for them?
