So the 9th finally does something smart. Another win for Trump's. This dovetails nicely with the roundup.

Republican bill would empower victims of illegal alien crime to sue sanctuary cities

Republicans are striking back against "sanctuary cities" by sponsoring legislation that would allow victims of illegal alien crime to sue cities with those controversial policies. Republican Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina announced the legislation in a press release.

"The legislation creates a private right of civil action for the victims of sanctuary jurisdictions, allowing them to bring an action for compensatory damages against the sanctuary jurisdiction as a result of a violent crime committed by an illegal immigrant," the press release read. "Any sanctuary city or jurisdiction that refuses to waive its immunity as it relates to sanctuary-related civil action would be subject to the withholding of certain Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding."

Well Tramp can never say anything bad about them again. I wonder if Republicans are pushing back in the red states. Most likely not.

I do agree with the decision and it makes sense, but it is odd that the 9th Circuit, who have disagreed with other common sense policies put forward by the Trump administration; in a rare instance, agree with him here and it just so happens to be a policy that ensures more lawyers, judges and lawsuits in the system to support their institutions.

Hey, maybe it's a just a coincidence, but certainly Trump has been trying to get a handle on the illegal immigration problem and has not received the needed support by many parties.

Most of the legal challenges are no more than Democrat Party Fascism. Using the courts to slow the Executive from exercising his Constitutional authority.

After all... If a Democrat can't win in the 9th Circus Court, then it wasn't a shred of legitimacy to the case to begin with.

Is it too much to hope that this could be the beginning of a change for them?

Yes. I think it is too much to hope for. They just showed they more have limits on their dishonesty and hatred of America than Democrat Party Leaders..

The Democrat's Devil's Advocate Law firms still win a small victory even if all they do is delay progress in American Greatness a few months by filing suits so stupid even the 9th won't take it seriously.

Ninth Circuit Hands Trump Administration Win in Sanctuary-City Case

He just keeps on winning. And doesn’t hurt that he’s getting so many judicial appointments confirmed. He will change the judiciary for decades.

A three-judge panel of the court ruled 2–1 that the Justice Department could deny Community Oriented Policing Services grants to cities and states that have “sanctuary” policies prohibiting law-enforcement cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

The panel rejected Los Angeles’s argument that DOJ’s practice of giving additional consideration to applicants that choose to further the two specified federal goals violated the Constitution’s Spending Clause,” Judge Sandra Ikuta wrote for the majority. “The panel held that DOJ did not exceed its statutory authority in awarding bonus points to applicants that selected the illegal immigration focus area or that agreed to the Certification.”

If it goes to the Supremes, I bet they’ll either refuse to review it or return it back to the 9th.

The result of Trump picking new 9th circuit judges.

Few peope realize how big the 9th is. There are 29 judges with Justice Elana Kagan being in charge. It covers more territory than any other court of appeals.

tramp created the problem to get a wall.
Actually it was The Democrat Congress under Obama that created the crisis by not challenging an Unconstitutional DACA EO, and royally screwing up our immigration system with their stupid Asylum specifications.

Democrats created a problem they refuse to fix. Just like Odumbo Care.

There ain't no way the Dems would ever challenge any lawless act that the Kenyan did

There was probably some pork attached where the DNC gets $4,000,000 dollars. It's how the swamp creatures roll.
