Rep. Tom DeLay, 2005-6 Result: Conviction, later overturned. Major political consequences. He's doing quite well for himself as a political consultant making lots of $$$$$

Sen. Ted Stevens, 2008 Result: Conviction, later overturned. Major political consequences

Gov. Sarah Palin, 2009 Result: Resignation, end of her career in office. If she's such a failure, why is she in the news every time one turns around?

Gov. Scott Walker, 2013-14 Result: Dormant but not quite dead. He's actually doing quite well, his approval ratings at an all-time high. He will easily win re-election and might do so with a legislature in his pocket to continue his goals and policies. Good going Dems.

Gov. Rick Perry, 2014 Result: Short-term win for Perry, but ongoing and ominous The governor will easily beat this case and the ensuing political kickbacks on Democrats will further turn Texas redder.

Gov. Chris Christie, 2014 Result: Inconclusive, but politically damaging.
I don't see anywhere his status is diminished.

Any arguments?

You can't use the law against anyone unless they break it.

Look how hard Republicans have tried against Obama.

How's that Republican primary court challenge in Mississippi going?

Oh, wait...

When one candidate buses in thousands of people from another state to vote for him and the crooked election commission ignores it, what other choice is there?

He did not START the issue - he only tried to seek justice.
