Well, JC's sort of an example of why I questioned the poll or maybe it's methodology. If you asked whether tariffs on china were good and whether tariffs of the eu were good, as separate questions, you might get differing results. The EU's currency floats, and it can be sued through the WTO for predatory pricing .... and it builds more cars here than we buy.Yeah. You complained about fair trade versus free trade.already explained. you just need to read a little. How did Trump shift the Republicans from a free trade party to a pro-tariffs party? Free trade was a tent pole issue for Republicans.
And I explained to you that tariffs cost consumers and domestic producers.
To which you replied nothing.
But as it is, we have 70% of republicans thinking Obama's a muslim and 70% thinking free trade is not good. That's a change. And if the republican party is the "conservative" party, that is a remarkable change. And I'm not sure where America is going. What with the dems embracing socialist candidates, at least in some districts.
