Putin is the one violating the terms of the 1990's agreement where Ukraine gave up its nukes and Russia agreed to the Ukrainian borders.

Both used to be part of the mandate of Palestine, then parts of Egypt or Jordan, then taken by the Israelis via war. Then Gaza was given back to the Gazans, and they promptly elected Hamas to represent them.
