25th Anniversary Reno Toy Run.
My riding partners and I were of the very first to get to the starting point today, and then hung around freezing our asses off waiting. We thought we were going to be first out in the ride behind the patches... but nooOOOooo. We were LAST to go. Next year will be different.
Anyway, here's a few pics of the starting gathering at the Alamo Truck Stop in Sparks, Nevada. It was overcast and about 35 degrees. One chilly ride. They estimated there was around 2,500 bikes there, and we stretched out almost three miles long. The whole route was blocked off by the Sparks and Reno P.D., and we went right down Virginia Street through the center of Reno, to the delight of many onlooking tourists...
