2020 prediction!!!

Yeah. I'm not holding my breath, but I sure would like to think that we're better than this.

We're not.

There was this great line in the Series "I, Claudius", where Claudius remarks that Caligula is "Sick in the Head". His mother Antonia remarks, "No, Rome is sick, sick in her heart. Caligula is just the rash it's broken out into."

Trump is just the rash America has broken out into. A decent country would agree, Trump is mentally unbalanced, he clearly broke laws, and he needs to go.

When America was healthier, this is exactly what they did to Nixon. Not that there weren't massive political divisions... those were worse than they are now, with Vietnam and Domestic Terrorism and Race Riots. But everyone could agree, Nixon's paranoia and corruption made him unfit for office.

Today. We have Republicans who know Trump is unfit for office, but then would have to admit they made a horrible mistake letting him become president to start with. They've spent the last 40 years using homophobia, misogyny, racism to get working class white people to vote against their own economic interest... Trump is just this toxin in concentrated form.

You have a view of the US federal government with partisan colored glasses.

1. Using the "I Claudius" analogy, Trump is the strong medicine necessary to undo the damage the Obama admin did to the US. The "swamp" or deep state, had taken over the Federal government and was misusing it for political advantage. From "Lois Lerner" using the IRS to punish conservatives, to Comey misusing the FBI and Brennan and Clapper misusing the CIA and other intel agencies to defeat Trump, to an MSM being used to spread propaganda, to deep state plants wearing wires or leaking or setting up investigations using fake "oppo research" to get FISA warrants to illegally spy on the opposition parties' campaign. So "Operation Crossfire Hurricane" has become the biggest political scandal in US history. Trump saved the Federal government from becoming the political tool of the democrats.

2. Trump is one of the few Republicans who could have withstood the onslaught of attacks from the Federal government. Trump is a billionaire not a lawyer or politician, Trump is the perfect president for this time in history. He changed the Republican party from "K-Street Conservatives" to "populist". Trump is running the Federal government for the benefit of the people instead of for "establishment politicians" of both parties, who make fortunes taking bribes to benefit Wall Street, while the people suffer.

1. The democrat candidate will be tarred with the democrat policies. In case you're wondering what they have been here is a wish list from various candidates, knowing that after the convention some of these will be tossed overboard for the general election:

Dude, don't cut and paste your shit. No one wants "Open Borders"..

2. The impeachment will motivate Trump voters, have you seen the Trump rallies? I won't list Trump's "promises kept" you can google them if you like, but Trump will have way more voters in 2020 than he had in 2016. The Never-Trumpers will hold their nose and vote for Trump to preclude a socialist victory.

Again, haven't talked to one person who was against Trump in 2016 who is for him now.

A lot of those old fucks have died off since then... and a lot of new young kids are going to be voting for the first time.

3. The economy just got rocket fuel, a phase-1 deal with China and the Fed holding rates steady for the foreseeable future. If in 2020 the US and China can get a phase-2 deal Trump will be unbeatable. The democrats simply can't beat Trump if he can keep the peace and prosperity going.

Manufacturing is in decline, consumer sentiment is down. The Feds shouldn't still be holding rates at this point. It's like taking antibiotics when you aren't actually sick... The problem is, the Fed is using recession tactics when we don't have a recession, so they won't have any ammo when one actually arrives.

4. New topic, the Barr-Durham indictments coming out in 2020. Some big names from the Obama admin are going to prison for the biggest scandal in US history, the illegal democrat "break-in" to the Trump campaign using all of the "crimes" found by Horowitz, as well as misusing foreign intel assets. Stay tuned.

Yeah, you guys have been wanking off to that for three years now. Nobody is going to look at Durham's indictments as anything but hacks pleasing Trump.

Horowitz just said the investigation was justified. Game pretty much over.

How do Democrats win the Senate in your opinion, especially when the Republicans are all but guaranteed to win their Alabama seat back?

NO, he really isn't. What is wrong with America he is just making worse.

Do you really think his race-baiting and beclowning of politics is going to be good in the long run?

Are you fucking retarded?

Hitler was a populist.
Mussolini was a populist
Peron was a populist.

Populists are NOT good things. They indulge the worst aspects of a society.

Can you name a country that put a "Populist" in charge and had a good result? No. No you can't. I know this information was deviously hidden from you in things called "Books".

1. Yes democrats want open borders and to eliminate ICE. They can spin it differently, but that's what they want
Immigration: Democrats must stop bashing Trump, start proposing ideas

2. There are many never-Trumpers who now support Trump, the House GOP and Senate GOP are now solidly for Trump, here is Jonah Goldberg's rationale':
Never Trump movement - Wikipedia
In a National Review article titled "Never Trump Nevermore", Jonah Goldberg stated:
I'm going to call 'em like I see 'em and wait and see if I was wrong about Trump. [...] The thing is: Never Trump is over. Never Trump was about the GOP primary and the general election, not the presidency. The Left wants to claim it must be a permanent movement, denying the legitimacy of Trump's election forever, or we were never serious. Well, that's not what we — or at least I — signed up for. [...] I'll say it again: I'm going to call 'em like I see 'em and wait and see if I was wrong about Trump. So far, I've said that most of his cabinet picks have been a pleasant and welcome surprise. But he's also done plenty of things that make me feel like I had him pegged all along. We only have one president at a time — and the guy isn't even president yet. I'll give him a chance. But I won't lie for him either.[90]

3. Tend to agree that the Fed has the needle slightly too far toward easing. If they sneak the rate up a little here and there they'd be more ready for the next recession. That said, there is no inflation and the Fed is working for their "2% inflation" goal. I'm not seeing a major issue with the current Fed rate. The Fed fucked-up last December cranking the rates up too fast, so lets hope they learned their lesson, no more than 3-hikes in a row.

4. Horowitz just said that the investigation "start" was justified (very low bar to start an investigation). After Operation Crossfire Hurricane got going it went off the rails and into criminal activity. Horowitz could not investigate outside the US or in other non-DOJ departments like Durham can. The game won't be over until the Durham investigation is over.

1. Yes democrats want open borders and to eliminate ICE. They can spin it differently, but that's what they want

ICE needs to be eliminated... it was a bad idea from the get-go. Immigration is not a national security issue. We need to go back to INS being part of the Labor Department and Customs being part of Commerce. DONE!

After Operation Crossfire Hurricane got going it went off the rails and into criminal activity. Horowitz could not investigate outside the US or in other non-DOJ departments like Durham can. Durham can make all the accusations he likes, but he still needs to get a grand jury to sign off on it. A Grand Jury empanelled in Washington DC, where 96% of people voted for Hillary and didn't like how the Russians stole an election from them.

Despite report findings, almost half of Americans think Trump colluded with Russia: Reuters/Ipsos poll

2. There are many never-Trumpers who now support Trump, the House GOP and Senate GOP are now solidly for Trump, here is Jonah Goldberg's rationale':

Uh, guy... Republicans who voted for Trump thinking he was going to lose in 2016 who have now completely drunk the Koolaid won't make a difference.

3. Tend to agree that the Fed has the needle slightly too far toward easing. If they sneak the rate up a little here and there they'd be more ready for the next recession. The Fed fucked-up last December cranking the rates up too fast, so lets hope they learned their lesson, no more than 3-hikes in a row.

Again... the problem with this is that there's no incentive to save now... So when the recession hits.... no one will have any savings.

1. What is wrong with America that Trump is making worse? Peace and prosperity? Trump is getting more minority votes than any GOP president in history, the democrats are toast in 2020. There is no race card for the democrats to play. Trump has outed the urban plantation game the democrats play.

2. You lose the debate. I'm calling Godwin's Law. Thanks for playing.
Godwin's law - Wikipedia
Trump has at most 5-years of presidency, he can't become a dictator. He showed the K-Street "establishment" pols of both parties how to run the government instead of lining their pockets as Wall Street moves jobs overseas. Trump is re-writing trade agreements to advantage the US economy. Trump is a populist in-charge having a good result.

1. We disagree about ICE. The drug cartels and gangs like MS-13 are nothing to fuck with.

2. You can count on your low-IQ voters if you like, but Barr and Durham are smart enough to figure out how to get indictments.

Democrats Push Immigration Policies That Amount To Open Borders In Second Debate

Agreed that not many if any of the GOP candidates could have survived the Obama admin's "Operation Crossfire Hurricane" except Trump.
The MSM's 93% negative coverage of the GOP would really bother other pols.
Then again, if the other GOP candidate was an "establishment guy" like Jeb they would be throwing rose petals at him all day as he kept those factories and jobs moving overseas.
