Probably because a lot of the blue states are concerned with dealing with their virus outbreaks right now. And here's a hint for you. Some of these states are going to have issues with another outbreak...if they aren't experiencing it already.

Huh? The OP was stating that none are blue states. And I said they were too busy dealing with the virus to worry about some sort of show pony red state grandstanding. But four of the states listed above have Democrat governors. I'm hoping that all these states took the virus seriously. Time will tell.
you are right ! the leaders in NY and NJ state did a horrible job handling their outbreak ! and What they did at old folks homes was incompetent and deadly ! remember emergency preparedness is always handled at the state level 1st..Pandemics are like famines. Bad planning and a crappy response aggravates a natural disaster. Getting mad at China for their stupidity does nothing to excuse national/state/local/personal stupidity here at home.
Just about everyone is struggling with this mess, not just your favorite blue state scapegoats. A lot of governors and legislators learned a lot from the first places to experience a covid-19 epidemic. Sadly some didn't learn a god damned thing.
