$16 TRILLION DEBT

President Bill Clinton left office in 2001 with a federal budget surplus of $200 billion and a $5 trillion national debt. Bush spent the $200 billion federal budget surplus then racked up $5 trillion national debt which he left to Obama. Obama inherited a $10.63 trillion national debt and added another $5 trillion which included Bush’s two wars and tax cuts for he rich that is rising each day. So the $5 trillion Obama has added to the debt is not all his. Bush tax cuts will add $2.8 trillion to the debt over ten years. Two wars costing $12 Billion every month plus interest. So Obama do not own the $5 trillion that has been added to the debt in the past 4 years. The $8 billion stimulus was to try to repair what Bush had broken but is did not fix it completely but did some repair. 3 million jobs were created or saved and jobs added monthly since Obama took office. Radical Right Extremist and Romney lead us to believe the entire $16 billion debt is Obama’s spending and it a dirty lie.

I have weighed the pros and cons of Obama 4 years and come to the conclusion that his pros far outweighs his cons and he deserves another 4 years. so he gets my 6 votes. Ending the Iraq war and getting Osama and the Affordable Healthcare Act, avoiding a depression is a big plus.

Didn't Obama repeal the Bush tax cuts the day he took office when Dems controlled the House and Senate? If he didn't, it's his debt now.

Clinton and the congress did a better job than anyone since 1957 in terms of the raw numbers, even bringing the deficit down to something like 18BIL (at the expense of what and how is another argument), but there was no surplus

The fucking numbers.. jeez.. not hard to find the budgetary and intragovernmental spending numbers... also not hard to figure out that when you have to borrow or go in to debt to hand out money, it is a check causing more debt

We were kicked out of Iraq. The military got Bin Laden. The Obamacare is the biggest tax hike the nation has known and took $700 billion from Medicare. Our economy is still in crisis with the deficit still in an unsustainable limit, credit downgrades, we are bankrupt, still printing money, unemployment at historic highs and he just allowed 1.7 million or better illegals to take American jobs without threat of deportation with a swipe of a pen ignoring the immigration laws.
