As I said above, the myths and legends should be placed on their places. My personal concept of God excludes any human features - such as anger, love, need in 'allies', personal communication - from 'Him'. 'He' doesn't need anyone and doesn't want any things being done for 'Him'.
More interesting is what He has done for us.
God loves his children.
I'm a white Judaeo-Christian
The DC status quo decided to use the massive viewing audiences of the NFL to foment racial tribalism among the population and suggest that Donald Trump was a fascist leader of white supremacy.
The refereeing is a reflection of the diversity-Equity-and-Inclusion contamination of government over sports. It is using large crowds and television to influence public opinion while the game suffers from rank incompetence.
Let me know what you think.
/---/ You're saying things have never been better as they are now?I call MAGA a sales pitch. Just like I call Build-Back-Better a sales pitch.
If MAGA means Make American Great Again, it means we were once great.
Can somewhat tell me when that was, what made us "great" and when you'll know we've gotten back to that point ?
I contend that people (because I've been cornering them on this topic) don't know what they mean when they say MAGA.
Nobody I've talked to can give me specifics.
One person I talked to said:
Well, in 1960, we didn't have the illegal problem we have now. So I asked what the problem is now (in terms of numbers). Didn't have it. How about 1960...didn't have it. I decided to forego the easy follow up question and move on.
So I am going to say, I think America is great now. We have A LOT of issues, for sure. But I still love living here and am grateful for my freedoms and liberties.
I see MAGA as a sales pitch and an implication that we've lost something (but nobody can tell me what). And I am not so sure American was any greater then than it is today.
Let me know what you think.
Rule #1: Provide specifics.
Rule #2: If you want to argue generalities, you have to be very clear on what they are and the basis for them.
Rule #3: No commentary on the "other side"
/----/ 100% bullshyt. Gov Cuomo ordered business in NY to shut down, not Trump. Post link to food lines.Obama is not in charge and we are more respected than we were when Trump was n office. We had more shuttered businsses and food lines for months when Trump was president.
/---/ Stating facts you don't like is a debate violation? WOWZA.Structure Debate Rules violation deleted. White 6
/----/ Got any examples. or are you just posting strawman arguments?I'll answer the OPS question.
Never. America has never been great. A nation cannot be great when only one small group of people are allowed to do everything while forcing everybody else out. Until we get complete equality for everyone, America will not be great.
Fair question as this thread has gotten long enough./---/ You're saying things have never been better as they are now?
MAGA - a political campaign slogan that really means nothing.
No different than "Hope and Change"
No different than "Build Back Better".
It is just a campaign slogan.
Of course, the opposing party is going to take the most negative spin they possibly can. As did the main stream media with MAGA. Claiming it was a call to go back to racism and misogyny.
Of course it wasn't. But try and convince a media sheep that.
To GenZ - it is going to be an impossible sale. No way. You are talking about the most coddled/overly protected generation perhaps the whole world has ever seen. One of the things you'll find is that those who want government, promote government. That's pretty easy.
1. We did this.
2. We did that.
3. We increased this.
4. Yada yada yada.
Those who don't want government have a much more challenging sale. AND WE, INCLUDING TRUMP, ARE FAILING.
We need to nuance the message and do ONE HELL OF A BETTER JOB selling it.
Gain from a white Christian MAGA Male perspective for whatHave we gained some things.....yes (Gorsuch, Kavenaugh, Bennett).
Democrat control over all forms of media cannot be overstated. Relentless propaganda is a hallmark of every totalitarian regime in modern history. America was not like this before Obama took office in 2009. It is unrecognizable now.I would say that America peaked in the 1980s.
Bill Clinton started the downward slide.
Barry Obama divided Americans.
Joe Biden is a total tool for the radical left who hate this country.
When the racist and corrupt Democrats take over a state that state is turned into a dystopian nightmare.
The Democrats are greedy corrupt totalitarians who treat the taxpayers like their slaves.
Billionaires love you people who are unable to think.Democrat control over all forms of media cannot be overstated. Relentless propaganda is a hallmark of every totalitarian regime in modern history. America was not like this before Obama took office in 2009. It is unrecognizable now.
