That's the reason why it's highly unlikely to happen. If the Ukraine did it, America/Nato would probably pull it's support for Zelensky because he's becoming a loose cannon in a fight that's essential for America.

Do you understand that America's plan is still to wear Russia down. The worst thing for America is a careless escalation to nuclear war. There's no win for either side in that!
