The key point is that the whole war is/was Theatre .
And Ukraine has shrunk by at least 30% and possibly by quite a lot more if Moscow wants to "make hay "in the next few weeks---------- the UAF is almost non existent as a potent force and the incursion into Russia has been an unmitigated disaster for the Midget .
His sole decision and against every piece of advice from his own people and NATO .

Putin won, he had three other challengers, Nikolai Kharitonov, Vladislav Davankov and Leonid Slutsky. They are all still alive.

Z declared martial law, he had that power, and he has keep it in place, he doesn't need any approval by the Ukrainian legislature since he did that.

It is responsible to make amends and try and get on Americas good side. That's far better than offending Americans for all of their billions they gave him.
Those European willing supporters didn't last too long it seems. I imagine if Zelensky didn't support a peace path some mother who loses her son would be quite angry and there would be increased pressure for him to resign,.
