The Progressive Era (1890 - 1920)

The Progressive Era ended long ago. Why do you warmed over Weather Underground 1960's liberals try to pass yourselves off as anything else?

Progressivism by its nature changes in character generation by generation. That's why it's called progress.

Only conservatives as stupid as you can't grasp that concept.

Progressives are for big government and the maximum amount of control over the people as possible. We fought a revolution to free ourselves from oppression such as that, and you think that going BACK to that is "progress"?

The cool thing about made-up bullshit terms ^^ is they can mean anything you want for the occasion.

Most democrat lefties like to refer to themselves as progressive and liberal because they think those terms apply to themselves in the literal sense. That's why DeMSNBC has that stupid misnomer 'lean forward' on their screen constantly. Truth is, lefties and democrats are today's conservatives. Mired in 1960's ideology and too rigidly stubborn and close minded to heed empirical info since the 1960's. True neocons are democrats.
