In a Republic, actually
‘"I think it was very, very apparent through all this that a lot of us were young, a lot of us went through training in elementary school of what to do in an active shooter situation," she said. "We were all unfortunately prepared."’

This is, unfortunately, the state of the nation: an entire generation raised anticipating having to act to survive gun crime and violence in school and in the workplace.

I don't know how things turned out, but if the shooter was in the elevator at all, all that had to be done was shut the elevator down to where the shooter would then be stuck and not get it started again until the authorities were able to get him.

God bless you and all surviving victims always!!!

Geez, we had 2 doors and all windows open when I was in school.
That one psycho teacher, I think she woulda knifed a shooter in a 1/2 a second.
Watched him drop, turn back to the class and get back to the lesson, then say "Hey Jimmy, go get the the principal and tell him to call the police about this, you are excused, now where were we?"
I'd give her 2-1 over anything like that. Crazy is crazy.

Put fully vetted armed combat veterans in the schools and the shootings will stop. A viable solution that doesn't shit all over the Constitution, but that's not what your masters want.

Total disarming of all law abiding citizens is the goal of the elite and you sheep will follow right along.

When I was a kid, one of my smart and funny friends from across town caught a stray bullet in the elbow while waiting for the school bus. :(
It was fired a block and a half away. Didn't hear the shot. At all.

I had the exact same thought strangely

Having security systems and armed security in public schools would be a good start.

Nevertheless, the reality is that mass shootings are a statistical minority, and one is statistically more likely to die in a car accident than they are in a mass shooting.

Yeah, but there was a hella lot less of them before Mental Institutions got closed and discipline was taken out of the schools.

I'm not seeing any evidence that "discipline was taken out of the schools", whatever that means.

Why wont democrats and the deep state stop the madness.

There is less hope for a good future in America. So many people struggling to make it in the new, "green economy."

No hope leads to violence. All the negative bias to the news stories.

Democrats always fanning the fire of hate and division.

Democrats could of prevented this tragedy. By being good people.
