Obama's BFF, Bill Ayers, bombed the Gulf Oil Building in Pennsylvania- an office building thrice the size of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma that McVeigh took out.

But instead of being fried to a crisp in the Electric Chair like Mr. McVeigh, Mr. Ayers is now a respected member of the Liberal Establishment.

It seems as if McVeigh's real crime wasn't bombing the building but the sin of omission by not endorsing ultraliberalism like Ayers.

But police and firefighters searching for the bomb were trapped in an elevator by the blast; when they escaped, the Pittsburgh Press reported, "several fires [were] smoldering in armchairs." Damage was estimated at $1 million, and a Gulf spokesman lamented that "some beautiful, and I suspect irreplaceable, marble was destroyed."
