You can thank Republicans for Obama’s renewed popularity

According to the Center for American Progress (based on Census Bureau's data,) 600,000 Hispanics will be newly eligible to vote in Florida in 2016.
Over the same period, fewer than 125,000 new white voters will be eligible in Florida.

In Arizona, more than 175,000 Hispanics will enter the voter pool as roughly 10,000 white voters leave it.

In Texas, 185,000 new white eligible voters will be overwhelmed by the roughly 900,000 Hispanics expected to enter the electorate.

Ahahaha Dem's couldn't get their existing voters to turn out what makes you think these Hispanics will vote?

Still counting on the mythical dynamic wherein all those unmotivated, indifferent, mostly ineligible and highly migratory are going to register and vote. Of those roughly 900,000, the rougly 75% under 18 keep getting counted to support the meme. Keep your dream alive.

Barry is the worst president in history, bar none, end of story.

Only the truly radical, America hating, commie leftist hacks and retards are left supporting him.

And those who are in favor of increasing jobs and economic growth, saving our auto industry, tax breaks for the middle class, growing housing industry, health care for all, equality for all Americans ....

Those who favor the US having the strongest economy in the entire world.

People like that support Prez Barry.

You can thank Republicans for Obama s renewed popularity - The Washington Post

The takeaway is that when the action in Washington exposes—and doesn’t smooth over—the fundamental differences between Republicans and Democrats, Obama’s favorability suffers. But when legislators accommodate the White House for the sake of avoiding “dysfunction,” the president benefits.

So if Republican politicians really want to advance conservative legislation, they have to embrace the reality that the only way to win a debate is to have one.

Gee, what a novel idea! Who would have guessed that engaging in a civil debate would be the way to get their conservative agenda passed?

It only happened throughout the Clinton administration. He worked with the GOP and together they came up with compromises that actually resulted in economic growth and prosperity for everyone.

But the dilemma for the rabid right today is that they hate Obama and don't want to do anything that improves his approval ratings. (Just look at Clinton's high approval ratings and they even tried impeaching him and failed!)

So if the extremist rightwing want to move their agenda they have to deal with Obama looking good.

They can't have their cake and eat it too.

Lololol oh brother this is the biggest bunch of bullcrap.

Do as Obama wants or the public will hate you. Give me a break.

It speaks volumes when somebody still supports Obama after all he's done. They must be one of the dumbest people on the planet
Or hate America as he does... or both.

Either way, obviously products of a thorough, prog, public school brain washing.

And who says that Obama 'hates America'?

Wait....did Sassy find you another 'exclusive article' online citing nothing but anonymous sources again? If so, you might want to double check that.

Ahahaha Dem's couldn't get their existing voters to turn out what makes you think these Hispanics will vote?

Self-preservation from the closet-racists? (especially on national, presidential elections.)

Go ahead, explain the 2014 election where "vote for us because Republicans are racists" failed. You libs really are having a tough time coming to grips with voters rejecting you.

For the even LESS intelligent (very likely) right wingers on here, 900,000 is MORE than 185.000.......LOL

Well,, I'd partially agree that the 2014 was a disappointment regarding democrats' voter turnout.....but only idiots would fail to compare how turnouts are in midterms versus presidential elections......that factor, coupled with some poor DNC candidates in 2014, contributed to the GOP rise.....

Next year the slogan for Dems is simple: "How well has your GOP congress performed in the last 2 years?"

Well, you may be "right".....I forgot to mention that of the 185,000 whites, they're all born over 18....my mistake. LOL

I did not mean to take this thread away from the important O/P's objective....Yes, the clown car of GOP candidates AND the dismal performance of the GOP led congress, are a GIFT to Obama's resurgent popularity.

Republicans do better when fewer people vote. They know it. Which is why republicans do better in off season elections. And why they have been working so hard to make voting more difficult.

But a general election year? Riddle me this batman......since 1988, how many times has the GOP convinced the electorate to vote for their candidate? And how many times have the democrats done the same thing?

Poor libs, grasping for the 'mid terms' excuse again are we? These were not your average losses, they were historic ass beat downs. And that's with Obama in the White House, you fools think you will fair any better with Hillary and her double semi's of baggage in tow and the right united to oppose her? lmao!

More 'mid terms' excuses, in 2006 when Dem's took control of congress you people were singing a different tune. You people said it was a repudiation of Bush, the people had spoken, Dem's were given a mandate. Why are you people talking out your ass now? Never mind the fact that if Obama can't turn out your base nobody can.

The "right united to oppose her"???? Laughing your ass (which includes your brain cells) off has caused you a real bad case of delusion.....Have you really kept up with the "unity" of the clown car posse of GOP candidates? Sure they ALL hate Hillary, but from the completely wacko statements of Carson, Huck-babe, Cruz, Trump, etc.....to the war-mongering Graham, you think there's "unity" in your crazed coalition?

lots of rw sour grapes in this thread. yanno if you people had any electable Presidential candidates you wouldn't whine so shrilly

You people said it was a repudiation of Bush, the people had spoken, Dem's were given a mandate

Indeed, in 2008 it was a repudiation of the war-crazed Cheney and his sidekick, Bush....but in 2014 it seems that it was a repudiation of "blackness" in the WH and the ACA that some of your wackos (like Cruz and Carson) likened to the "end of the world."
