Yosemite is my recommended park to see. Days and days just to experience all of it. This video explores some of it. If you go to CA, look up videos.

As it turned out, that 7-to-7 tour showed me everything I wanted to see in the park. It was great. I had no desire to hang around longer. I'm glad I did it.
I like Yellowstone a lot too. Yosemite does not have geysers or dangerous hot pools that have killed some visitors.I just left Yellowstone this morning.
Yesterday we made the entire North and South loop, and traffic was minimal because we started at 9am.
By the time we got to the Old Faithful area, it was pretty crowded and lines were long just to get into the parking lots.
We finished the drive and headed out again this morning at 7am.
We did the South Loop and stoped at all the attractions and traffic was fine.
If you want to tour Yellowstone, start early.
The better a place is, the more people will head there for the experience. I have camped in the valley of Yosemite and well up in the higher mountains. If you want to camp there, up in the mountains on the way to Nevada, camp sites are good if you don't want crowds. Yosemite is just so beautiful it is worth going there as you did.Yosemite has been on my Bucket List for a long time. But there is too much to see in a short period of time, too much traffic, blah, blah, blah.
So it turns out that I had a reason to go to California a couple weeks ago, and I decided to include Yosemite in the trip. While I don't generally like big tours and such, I found a long, single-day bus tour of Yosemite. It was a little pricey, but the thinking was that if I see something that deserves a little more attention, I could do that on subsequent days.

I'm glad I did it.
