Suspect Keon Robinson, 28, hurt his hand punching the ground before he ran off with the tourist’s tote bag, and cops followed his trail of blood to a building on West 147th Street, where he knew someone, said NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce.

Police found a bloody handprint in the elevator — which they are doing DNA testing on and expect to match to Robinson — as well as the suspect’s acquaintance, who ID’d him from the video surveillance, Boyce said.
