Thanks for linking the update, Jim. Looks like smoke and mirrors mostly, to me, more for political value than anything else.
Most of the red line indicating new wall was replacement wall, but DHS has had about 300 miles of new wall with no prior wall present as of now, and I think they anticipate another150 miles to be complete by the end of the year.
BP picked where and how the wall would be erected/implaced to get the most impact/assistance in helping them patrol, and they designed the wall itself.
This is the second reason the Democrat long term strategy that depends on immigrants to make whites a minority wont work.
The first is that Hispanics are mostly white, of European descent, and regard themselves as white as they move into the middle class. The rest of them are mestizos, mostly, and also tend to identify as white.
Once we displace the old Episcopalian Elite from the levers of power, more of them will self identify as white because it wont be regarded as a form of stupidity by them.
