Wow, Candied Camera!!!! Haven't seen this since the early 90's!!

And actually..........you CAN go to the city to "buy a parking space" for a day or week/month in some areas.
And you can charge as much as you want for that space.

They do this in Mexifornia. A lot of restaurants do it there. They will charge you to park on the street in front of their restaurants. And no, it's not Valet parking..........thats different.

Depends on where on the street its located, and how long you plan to be there.
There's plenty of parking spaces in downtown that have fire hydrants next to them on the sidewalks.

Not all cities have the same rules about fire hydrants.
