Would you like to know the day you’re going to die ahead of time? Why or why not?

I think I would, give me a chance to say goodbye and sort things out.

I would much more prefer to know the people who will be around Me at the moment I go....Maybe I can toss one of them under the bus....

To answer your question.

No.

I think that if a person knew when and how they were to die, they would then obsess over that moment to the exclusion of everything else. That would mean they wasted their life instead of living it.

I wouldn't - because if I knew, I would try and change the future to prevent my death, which in turn, would change the future for everyone else.

Ahhh a disruption in the space/time continuum. You could accidentally create a black hole which would swallow all of humanity. Either that or the Chicago White Sox would win the World Series.
