This girl I went to high school with is asking for donations for her brother on Facebook. Apparently he's an idiot who races these and he got into a terrible accident. Now he can't take care of himself or his wife and kids. What an idiot.

A sand drag racing track is 300 feet (100 yards) long. The surface consists of a dirt/sand/clay mix that creates optimal traction for the sand drag racing vehicles. Track grooming is necessary to maintain a competitive and safe race surface for all competitors.

Zero to 100 in 3 seconds. They wear helmets but no body protection? I wouldn't give anyone a single penny if they got hurt doing this. Why give them my money? Imagine how much they spent on this stupid unsafe hobby? Had they put that money in the bank they wouldn't be asking us for my money.

Sand dragsters can reach speeds of over 100 miles per hour (mph) and complete runs in under three seconds.

He should have insured himself before taking on this dangerous hobby... when you have kids they must come first...
Now he will have go to the government for aide for his family so I guess we will pay for his recklessness one way or the other....

I have never heard of sand drag until I read her Facebook post asking for help. She wasn’t very specific about what happened so I looked back a few posts and saw what he was doing. I have to honest. I don’t give to charity or poor people. Here’s why. We all have x amount of money. Does trump run around handing out $100s? No he does not. In fact as rich as he is, he’s a cheap son of a bitch. Has to cheat on taxes and the value of his properties.

And rich guys like him don’t want to pay taxes to pay for poor people. You would think they wouldn’t mind seeing as how they have 95% of all the money. The only reason they give is the tax write off.

So if rich people are cheap, why should a guy like me who has $800,000 saved be giving out money?

You can see if/when it's working.

The United States had its lowest poverty rate in 2019, when it was 10.5%. This was the result of a period of record-long economic growth. 8 of those years were Obama. 4 Trump.

We can see by giving poor people $15 more in free money, they buy healthier food and they take their medicines. And this saves us money. It improves those people's lives. God help those people without these programs.
