You're correct in the way Democrats think and behave.

Both parties. Neither party is serious about illegal immigration or illegal employment. You sure don't see US businessmen/management, etc going to jail for a long time, do you? They just say "fake IDs", "We didn't know", get a slap on the wrist and go right back to hiring. Amazing. high school dropout bouncers at cheap bars wanting to keep liquor licenses can spot a fake ID, at a glance, but HR professionals with college degrees and computers, cannot? It is all a scam, to keep a stead supply of cheap labor, depressing domestic labor rates and the middle and lower income population, for the benefit of business. And, both parties get to raise money on the issue, blocking attempts to solve, protecting business. Never having to solve, as not wanting it solved effectively, it is the grift that keeps on giving and raising political cash, to insure, it is never solved.
