World Boxing Council to Create Transgender Competition Category

The head of the World Boxing Council said that trans entrants identifying as women still carry male physical advantages that can potentially endanger women boxers.

This is a long-overdue common sense move.

Expecting women to box against biological males is absurd. Not only because of the potential for life-threatening injuries, but because women boxers, who are incredibly brave and athletic, would become the Washington Generals of boxing, only there to lose comically.

I wish they'd just let people be who they're and have their personal freedom.. Of course that only matters to far too many if it is used to attack the poor and suck the rich off.
