Unless she poisoned the furry mic with a deadly toxin, I don't think it was an assassination attempt.

I don't know whether it was deliberate or not but for sure this woman should never be allowed within 50 feet of President Trump ever again. I would rule out her hitting him on purpose. She is militant leftist, has often accused President Trump of being pro-KKK and giving Hitler-like speeches and worse. And she has been a strong critic of his policies especially those affecting LGBTQX+++ people of which she is apparently one.

And she certainly makes a strong case for defunding NPR. Why in the world do all taxpayers have to fund something so partisan and non objective? If she was praising Trump, everybody on the left would be demanding NPR be shut down. It no longer serves its purpose and we shouldn't have to fund it and people like that reporter.

My problem with PBS and NPR is that they are no longer politically neutral and represent only the left side of the population. Taxpayers should never be required to fund that.
