If you look at history, cannibalism does tend to happen in socialist societies. It happened a lot in the USSR under Stalin, lots of cannibalism also happened in China during Mao's reign, and it also happened in Ethiopia and several other countries that turned extremely politically leftist.

It could happen here in the USA too. If some LWNJs get their way child trading will become a common thing in big cities. Massive famine happens frequently in commie countries. People will trade their own children for a neighbor's children so that they don't have to eat their own children for nourishment to survive.
