Those are killers, and even if you don't die you're almost guaranteed severe brain damage.

I don't know if she died or not. But death from a head injury like that usually takes a couple of hours. If she did get a skull fracture, and they don't treat it within an hour or so, her best outcome is to be a vegetable, like what happened to Michael Schumacher.
