In case anyone has forgotten, Canada refused to participate in the first generation ("Star Wars") defense of North America because it knew that the US would protect it anyway. Now the US wants to establish a second generation missile defense shield ("Iron Dome") over the continent. This will require additional Arctic anti-missile bases to the east of Alaska. If Canada again refuses to participate in its own defense, the US will have to look to Greenland. If Greenland also refuses, should the US just forget about its own national security?

You’re stating that Greenland is critical for our national security?

We don't own either of those countries.

Greenland isn't for sale.

If I were a Greenlander, the price for a base just went 5X existing cost. And if heil shitler! whines about it it's now 10X.

So if Canada invites China to establish a military base there, the US should not intervene?
America first means we don't have bases in countries that are not dictatorships.

Why do we get to decide on military bases the Canadian government has.

Thousands of times I have read Progs on many forums and their demand of social programs/legislation spewing "freedom is not free". The world is realigning. Whether we do anything or not. I do know if nuclear weapons are used, in the Western Hemisphere, most of them will hit the continental United States.

Another answer without a question?

If I were a Greenlander, I would understand that becoming a US territory is the best possible option: All the benefits of US citizenship without paying federal income taxes. But that is apparently above your pay grade.

Hilarious

It's not the best option. They don't need our stupid maga politicians or their politics. Have you seen polling in Greenland on the subject?

Then we should mend fences with Canada, instead of engaging in a trade war.

Typical Greenlanders are Inuit ethnic, not the Nordic Vikings you think just because it's half-assed lorded over by Denmark.

CANADA is disappointed with us right now. Its not AMERICANS they are angry at. ITS OUR POLITICANS

Then do a new treaty of alliance that allows for a better missile defense.

Americans will not accept a takeover by our military.

If we're treating Canada like an enemy...doesn't it make sense to form such an alliance?

See, dumbfuck...if we keep our alliances strong, you don't have to worry about such a thing. When you start threatening your allies...they look for other allies. It makes perfect sense. Your blob caused this.
