With the heavy involvement of China and DPNK in Russia Versus Ukraine....is it reasonable to say that WW3 has already started?

Been doing some reading in the miltary journals and news.....hoepfully the non propaganda ones. (Just had my head handed to me the other day because I didn't vet my sources lol)...will I ever learn??) I didn't realize how deeply involved North Korea was in the Russia<>Ukraine conflict....very heavily apparently up to and including 6,000 dead North Koreans. Large shipmemnts of Artillery hardware and hundreds of thousands of shells to go with it. China has stepped up its hardware and logistcal support and also has committed to buying even more Russian Hydrocarbons. Ukraine is now on the hostilities list of both Hungary and Slovakia for some complex reasons having to do with EU parlimentary voting https://www.euronews.com/2026/02/22...e-until-ukrainian-oil-supplies-resume.....not good at all. I mean how will the elected pick pockets of the EU parliament get their kickback bucks and boomerang benefits if Hungary votes against???? Then it struck me....

This thing is growing....not slowing. You would think that the loss of 1.2 million Russian Soldiers would put Putin right out on his ass in the next Russian Election cycle....I mean that is enormous...unless of course the number is fictititious which is highly possible.

Ukraine ain't no angel here either folks....sure this is a David and Goliath struggle but did it ever occur to you that sometimes David can be a little prick?

Additonally I keep hearing that Russia is suffering economically and yet they are expanding their Military at a very Rapid rate and actually have more tanks now than they did at the begining of the conflict albeit the older models that have been pulled from retirement I guess...but still.

Soooo what's next here folks....do you see this thing ending or exploding?

JO

To end, one side would have to surrender. Peace talks about a mutual agreement never work in a war. I doubt that it will explode, or get bigger.

You honestly think the Russians have lost 1.2 million soldiers?

No.
When the Russians and Chinese start shooting at NATO, and the US decides to prosecute -that- war along Russia's / China's Pacific coast, you'll have the start of WW3.
The concept of "no limits war" (无界战争) as an ideology in China, particularly in relation to the United States, is a strategic approach that emphasizes the use of a wide range of means—military, economic, cyber, informational, and diplomatic—without strict adherence to traditional boundaries or rules during conflicts. This approach suggests that during times of peace, certain elements of this strategy may still be active, aiming to subtly undermine or exert influence over the adversary.

In Chinese strategic thought, especially as articulated by some military and strategic analysts, "no limits war" reflects an understanding that modern conflict is multi-dimensional and that the distinction between war and peace is increasingly blurred. This could involve:

  • Cyber operations targeting critical infrastructure
  • Economic measures such as trade restrictions or technology bans
  • Disinformation campaigns to influence public opinion
  • Diplomatic pressure and influence operations
  • Military preparedness and modernization, including asymmetric tactics

The ideology promotes the idea that China should be prepared to engage in various forms of conflict simultaneously and seamlessly, without being constrained by traditional notions of warfare boundaries. During peace times, this could mean maintaining a state of readiness or conducting activities that advance strategic objectives covertly or subtly.

It's important to note that this ideology is part of broader strategic concepts within China's military and strategic community, often associated with "unrestricted warfare" (无限战争), which was popularized by Chinese military thinkers in the 1990s.

In short, WWIII began the moment the U.S approved Chinas entry into the WTO.

News flash! It started with the brutal NATO attack on the former Yugoslavia when a drunken Court Jester was masquerading as the Russian President, NATO and it's handlers knew they couldn't miss the chance to weaken Russia because the Russians at that time were not in a position to do much about it, if Putin had been President at that time it would never have happened, since then it's been one Western instigated conflict after another.

No, China will stay on the sideline as usual. China doesn't want to lose face more than necessary. Israeli bombing against Iran and the US raid to capture Maduro showed China's most sophisticated radar system is worthless.

Sure, more or less.

We just fight differently now, so wars are seldom announced.

Not quite yet, almost.

WWIII would mean total war, we are not at total war yet.

I suspect that if the U.S. attacks Iran, and that oil stops getting to China, Russia and China will mobilize for total war.

I have heard that Russia has some navel and air assets in the Iranian theater, though China doesn't, and has not indicated that they will send anything.

. . however, if both China and Russia mobilize for total war after an Iranian attack, I think it is conceivable that China will continue to divest, and maybe cause a recession here - coordinated with the closing of the straights.

IMO, the last time we saw this kind of hurt will have been a generation or so ago.

When you think of the NORKs in Ukraine, think of the Hessen troops contracted by the Brits in our revolution....Same difference.

Neither were/are really mercenaries, just contract troops.

While the German state leaders got money from the Brits, the NORKs gain valuable combat experience and perhaps even future strategic help from Russia.
