I'm an old school Cold Warrior. Whenever Russia begins doing stuff like this, you know we have touched a nerve.

Putin is feeling the pain of dropping oil prices. His economy is overly dependent on oil. As I mentioned several months ago, the way to hurt him in the Ukraine is to hurt him financially, and the best way to do that is to force the price of oil down, and that we should bend Saudi Arabia's arm to do so.

Russia always thrashes out like this when we have hurt them. This is an outstanding signal Putin is in pain. We've gotten to him.
